Zin in een avond vol poëzie en muziek? Kom dan naar de Poetry Processing Party van NOORDWOORD, The Stage & Noordstaat! Hier komt alles samen: spoken word, poëzie, muziek en alles daartussenin gecombineerd met mooie gesprekken die zeker niet alleen op het podium plaatsvinden. Verwacht optredens van lokaal Gronings talent, maar ook van grote namen als Zaïre Krieger, Shishani, Guus van der Steen en YMP.
Je host voor de avond is Romano Liu, die je misschien kent van Spaces Art Collective. Samen met spoken word-artiest Onias Landveld, die graag met jou in gesprek gaat over wat er écht toe doet, neemt Romano je mee door de verschillende perfomances en vibes. De vraag die centraal staat: “Zou je nog steeds met me door een deur kunnen als je wist hoe ik echt dacht?”
We sluiten de avond af met een poëtische house set van de dj’s van Relate Radio zodat je alle tijd hebt om te dansen en na te praten.

Looking for an evening filled with poetry and music? Then come to the Poetry Processing Party by NOORDWOORD, The Stage & Noordstaat! This event brings everything together: spoken word, poetry, music, and everything in between, combined with engaging conversations that definitely won’t be confined to the stage. Expect performances from local Groningen talent, as well as big names like Zaïre Krieger, Shishani, Guus van der Steen, and YMP.
Your host for the evening is Romano Liu, whom you may know from Spaces Art Collective. Along with spoken word artist Onias Landveld, who loves to engage in meaningful conversations, Romano will guide you through various performances and vibes. The big question of the night is: “Would you still walk through a door with me if you knew what I really thought?”
We’ll close the evening with a poetic house set by DJs from Relate Radio, giving you plenty of time to dance and chat afterwards.

NOORDWOORD is the literary organization of Groningen. NOORDWOORD organizes festivals such as the poetry festival Dichters in de Prinsentuin, the literature festival Het Grote Gebeuren, and presents the Best Groningen Book awards. The Stage is een podium voor spoken word en zij toeren dit jaar met hun brede scala aan artiesten door Nederland om ruimte te bieden aan woordkunst van het allerhoogste kaliber. Met hun programma stellen ze polariserende kwesties aan de kaak en zetten ze het publiek aan het denken.

Noordstaat is dé plek in het noorden waar upcoming en startende artiesten versnellen en groeien in hun talent. Ze coachen, promoten, hebben repetitie-/studiofaciliteiten en verbinden artiesten en acts aan podia en festivals.
Noordstaat is the place up north where emerging and up-and-coming artists can accelerate and grow their talent. They offer coaching, promotion, rehearsal/studio facilities, and connect artists and acts to stages and festivals.
Relate Radio is een door de gemeenschap aangedreven online radiostation in Groningen, dat fungeert als een cultureel platform voor degenen die willen leren, ontwikkelen en experimenteren op basis van hun muzikale interesses en maatschappelijke verkenningen. Tijdens Poetry Processing Party sluiten de Relate-dj’s Coco Coquelicot en Geert Jan de avond af met een paar uur goede muziek & vibes.
